Everyone wants a sparkling bathroom but not everyone has hours to scrub it spotless. Here are a few tips to cut down on your cleaning time but is just as effective as you spending two hours to scrub it.
1. Denture Cleaner
Yes you read that correctly! The same cleaner that makes dentures sparkle can also be used in the bathroom to clean. Just pop one in your toilet bowl and let it fizz the stains away. Let it sit for an hour, run the toilet brush around a couple of times and bam you have a clean and sanitized toilet bowl.
2.Baking soda and Vinegar
Baking soda combined with vinegar creates a chemical reaction that eats soap scum like candy. Sprinkle a liberal amount of baking soda on the bottom and sides of a bathtub or shower rub into the surface with your fingers or a wash cloth. Using a spray bottle, spray the baking soda down with vinegar and let sit until it stops fizzing. Rinse.
3. Vinegar and water
Vinegar and water are a great way to wash windows and mirrors, not only is it cheaper to use that commercial window cleaner but it is also healthier to use around children especially children with asthma.
4. Orange peels soaked in vinegar
Save your orange peels and let them soak in a mason jar full of apple cider vinegar for 2 weeks. This mixture is a great cleaner and is also antibacterial. You can use this mixture to clean surfaces, toilet seats and floors. It does not stain and the overwhelming vinegar smell is diminished by the citrus smell of oranges. This mixture can be used with any of the above tips that use vinegar as a cleaner.
I hope these tips help you. Happy cleaning!
