Vardaman Street Christian Academy is holding their first Fall Arts and Crafts Festival. For those of you that don’t know, we are a non-profit Christian school that offers a quality Christian education in a warm, friendly atmosphere. The purpose of this school is to offer an alternative choice to parents when it comes to education. Academic and spiritual standards are high with an emphasis on patriotism and character training. Our festival will be held at Blaylock Park in Wiggins on Saturday October 26th from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. We will begin the morning with a 5k run and a 1 mi kid run with prizes. You will want to take a stroll back in time by checking out the antique cars that will be displayed courtesy of Red Creek Classics. We will also have lots of craft vendors and food vendors. There will be jumpers for the kids, games, hay ride, pumpkin patch, and photo booth. At 10 a.m. turn your attention to the stage for a dog show! Throughout the day you can enjoy several local talents performing on stage. We will finish the day out with “Face Down” on stage from 1p.m.-3p.m. We would love to make this an annual event not only for our school but for our City and County. Please come out and enjoy a day of fellowship with us! You may call for more information or stop by the school to sign up for the run and dog show! 601-928-5454
